Leandro Savelón (Batería)

Ha tocado con numerosas formaciones y músicos a lo largo de los últimos 15 años tanto en proyectos artísticos como otros de neto corte laboral. Entre ellos se destacan: Dino Saluzzi, Alejandro Santos, César y Alejandro Franov, Bernardo Baraj, Alejandro Manzoni, Ludmila Fernández, Fernando Lerman, Máximo Rodríguez, Coco Romero, María Estela Monti, Fernando Galimany, Enrique Norris, Guido Martínez, Guillermo Delgado, Fernando Carmona, Pablo Carmona, Alan Plachta, José Ríos, Daniel Reschigna, Beto Satragni, José Saluzzi, Lila Horowitz, Pablo Marcovski, Mariano Fernández, Abel Rogantini, Fernando Kabusaki, Ulises Butrón, Ignacio Copani (fue 5 años baterista del cantante), entre otros.
Desde el año 2001 es baterista del cuarteto de jazz de Ludmila Fernández, presentándose asiduamente en teatros, pubs, y los más importantes hoteles de la Ciudad de Bs. As. Grabó un disco que saldrá en el año 2007. También desde el año 2001 forma parte del trío del pianista Alejandro Manzoni con el cual grabó un disco en el año 2002.
Forma parte del Grupo “El cuatriyo” junto a Fernando Lerman, Alejandro Manzoni y Máximo Rodríguez, con cual grabará el primer disco en Junio de 2007.

Forma parte del grupo “Enclave Balvanera” de Coco Romero, con el cual grabó un disco que saldrá a la venta en julio de 2007 sobre poesías de Javier Villafañe.
Otras formaciones con en las que se desempeña son: Esteban González Grupo (folclore), Daniel Valenzuela Grupo (candombes, murgas), El cuarto (música rioplatense), María Estela Monti (tango, milonga, música rioplatense. Disco grabados 2006, 2007), Proyecto Oliverio Girondo (Disco grabado en 2005)
Se ha formado siempre en el ámbito particular, siendo sus profesores, Jorge Savelón (su hermano), Tristán Taboada y Jose Luis Colzani.

Juan Carlos Estivill (electric bass)

   Born in Buenos Aires in 1952. He studied classical guitar. He studied harmony, improvisation and arranging with Juan Carlos Cirigliano who was pianist with Piazzolla. He studied electric bass with Javier Malosetti He took electric bass master classes with Alfonso Johnson from Weather Report and guitar master classes with Jim Hall.
   He performed chamber music playing the viola da gamba for seven years.
   Professionally, he has performed chamber music on television, radio and concert halls of Buenos Aires such as Teatro Colón, Teatro Nacional Cervantes, Centro Cultural San Martín, Biblioteca Nacional, Centro Cultural Borges, Universidad Nacional Del Comahue among others.
   As a jazz musician he performed in Oliverio Always, Paseo La Plaza and took part in different ensembles performing in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Besides working as a studio musician and a teacher, he was bassist for Lorena Astudillo as well as bassist and arranger for Mónica Pelay, with whom he recorded his second CD.

  He was also bassist and editing director of the Mario Herrerías Quintet’s first CD whose music has been hailed by Hermeto
Pascoal.
   He took part in the recording of the rock group Audire’s first CD led by the guitarist and composer Guillermo Cudmani.

Favio Zurita (piano, arrangements)

   Born in Frias, Santiago del Estero. He studied piano, harmony, theory and jazz improvisation with Alexander Ezquer.
   Since 1990, he has performed as piano soloist and in different pop music ensembles. For the woodwind ensemble, "Alaire" and the saxophone ensemble, "Bohemia", he has created a vast number of arrangements for tangos.
   As a pianist with several orchestras and ensembles, he worked in restaurants, hotels and night clubs such as "La Emiliana", "Club del Golf", "El Morocco", performing alongside Donald McCluskey, Vicky Buchino, Rafael Cini, Willie Toledo, Guillermo Galvé among others.

  In 1990, he was pianist and arranger in the folklore ensemble, "Envuelto en Llamas”, performing in such places as ""Argentinisima", "La Casona del Conde de Palermo", "La Trastienda", "La Eulogía/Megafón" as invited guests of Peteco Carabajal and Chango Farías Gómez. With this group he also performed in "Luna Park" alongside Mercedes Sosa on the stage of the Cosquín Folklore Festival. Since 2000, he is pianist with Antonio Tarragó Ros, having performed across Argentina including La Quinta Trabucco, Festival Cosquín among others.
   As of 2001, he teaches piano, harmony, theory, and ensemble practice both privately and at the institute "El Estudio".
   Many of the arrangements El Noneto perform are his.

Horacio Cuello (baritone sax, clarinet)

He studied baritone sax and clarinet with Ruggiero Lacecchia, Hugo Pierre, Arturo Schneider and Paquito Freijido.

He obtained orchestral experience at the Conservatorio de Música “Manuel de Falla” under the direction of G. Chiarella. He did on saxophone ensemble work with Hugo Pierre.

He has performed with the Sinfónica de la Prefectura Naval Argentina and the Sinfónica de la Policía Federal Argentina. He is presently with the Agrupación Sinfónica del Municipio de Morón.

 

He played in different groups including La Antigua Jazz Band, La Big Band de mariano Tito, La Orquesta de Jazz de Oscar Tissera. He was member and co-founder of the group Cuatro Vientos and Saxtango.

Jorge Scarinchi (clarinet, tenor sax)

   Born in Cruz Alta, Córdoba, he began his musical studies with Hector Gatti in the Escuela de Música “Silvio Agostini” in 1972. He graduated from the Conservatorio Nacional de Música with degrees in both clarinet and saxophone having studied with Antonio Tricárico, Julio Rizzo, Aldo Moscoso, Mariano Frogioni, and Hugo Pierre. He attended master classes with such notable teachers from the United States and France as Stanley Drucker, Claude Delangle, Anthony Gigliotti.
   He performed with such orchestras as the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón, Filarmónica de Buenos Aires, Sinfónica Nacional, Orquesta Juan de Dios Filiberto, Orquesta de San Martín, Banda de San Martín, Orquesta del Teatro Roma de Avellaneda, Orquesta Tres de Febrero. He has performed in varying genres such as musicals, zarzuela, tango, operetta, opera and concert. He has toured throughout the country with the Orquesta Juan de Dios Filiberto, and Mariano Mores.

   He has performed on various occasions for different contemporary music organizations of Argentina such as CULTRUM and CUDA, recording several CD’s under the auspices of National Arts Fund.
   He performed in musicals, namely “Cabaret”, “Hello, Dolly”. In theaters such as Gran Rex, Opera, he worked with such notable musicians as Caetano Veloso, Oscar Cardozo Ocampo, and Fito Paez.
   As soloist, he has played in the Teatro San Martín, Centro Cultural Recoleta, Radio Nacional, Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón, Sociedad de Compositores Argentinos accompanied by pianists such as Patricia Giannattasio Puyó and Lucía Losavio.
Since 1991, he has been a regular during the opera season at the Teatro Colón both as clarinetist and saxophonist.
   In July of 1997, he was invited by the Air Force to perform with the Concert Band at the Marambio Air Force Base in the Antarctic to participate in the celebration of the anniversary of the Force.
   In July of 1998, he received an honorable mention in the 3rd International Chamber Music Competition of Buenos Aires with the Trío de Vientos Blasberg-Scarinchi-Piazza.
   That same year, he participated in a saxophone workshop given by Claude Delangle, professor at the Conservatoire de Paris, at which time he played alongside Hugo Pierre, Alejandro Gonzalez and Mr. Delangle.
   Presently, he is clarinetist in the Banda Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires and the Agrupación Sinfónica del Municipio de Morón as well as saxophonist of the Cuarteto de Saxofones Hugo Pierre.

Victor Skorupski (soprano sax, clarinet)

   Born in Merlo, Buenos Aires. He studied saxophone, clarinet and flute with Pablo Kusselman and Arturo Schneider. He also studied harmony and composition with Matías Pizzarro and Pedro Aguilar.
   He performed classical music as soloist with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires, Orquesta Sinfónica Juan de Dios Filiberto, Orquesta Sinfónica de Paraná, Orquesta Sinfónica de Rosario.
He is currently soprano saxophone soloist of the Banda Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires as well as soprano and alto saxophone soloist of the Agrupación Sinfónica del Municipio de Morón.
From 1984 to 1997, he was member and co-founder of the “Cuarteto de Saxofones de Buenos Aires”, which performed in numerous concert halls including Salón Dorado del Teatro Colón, Teatro San Martín, Teatro Roma, Alianza Francesa, Conservatorio Nacional, among others. For this ensemble, he created a great number of arrangements, transcriptions and compositions.
   

 He performed popular music and recorded with artists from Argentina and abroad such as Fito Paez, Divididos, Mercedes Sosa, Jairo, Susana Rinaldi, Charly García, Los Pericos, Miguel Mateo, Manuel Wirst, Sandro, Natalie Cole, Paquito D’Rivera, Caetano Veloso, Ray Coniff, Olga Guillot, Arturo Sandoval, Armando Manzanero, Celia Cruz, etc.
   In local jazz, he has performed in groups with Pollo Raffo, Anacrusa, Mario Parmisano, Adrian Iaies, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Diego Urcola, Guillermo Klein, Rodolfo Mederos, etc. He has his own jazz fusion band, “El Ghetto” which recently released
its third CD.
   He has taught saxophone at the Instituto Argentino de Música in Olivos (Buenos Aires) and presently is head of the wind instruments program at the Escuela de Música Popular del Sindicato Argentino de Músicos. He is director and arranger of the Sax Ensemble and Rhythm Section at the Escuela del Sindicato Argentino de Músicos. He teaches saxophone privately as well as harmony, arranging and composition.

Germán Moine (alto sax, clarinet, bass clarinet)

Born in Rosario (Santa Fé). Graduated en 1988 from the Escuela Nacional de Música in his native city under the tutelage of Juan Bautista Zaghis. He performed with the Orquesta de Cámara de Rosario.
He took master classes with Martín Tow, Eduardo Ihidoype, Luis Rossi and Mariano Frogioni in the Conservatorio Nacional "Carlos López Buchardo".

He performed in several musicals including "Drácula", "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Hermanos de Sangre", "El Alma está de Fiesta". He played in orchestras under the direction of Ernesto Acher and Mariano Mores. He is a member of the clarinet quartet "Todo X 4".

He is first alto clarinet of the Banda Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires since 1991, having won that position in competition. Since 1990, he is clarinet teacher at the Escuela de Música Julián Aguirre (San Miguel, Buenos Aires).

Osmar Miguel Sosa (alto sax, clarinet, arrangements)

Born in Laguna Paiva (Sante Fé). At age 12 he began studying music and clarinet with Ricardo Bosso and later with Mr. Pietragalla, soloist of the Orquesta Sinfónica de San Martín.
He studied popular music and jazz with Francisco Freijido.

He performed in the orchestras of Victor Buchino, Osvaldo Requena and Panchito Nolé among others. He also took part in tango ensembles with Julián Plaza, Roberto Panzera, José Colángelo and Leopoldo Federico.

He is clarinetist of the Banda Sinfónica de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires since 1983, having won that position in competition.
He is also clarinet soloist in the Banda Municipal de San Martín.

He is musical arranger of the clarinet quartet “Todo X 4” and many of the arrangements of El Noneto are his.

Fernando Lerman

Compositor, saxofonista y flautista.
Se formo con Hugo Pierre y Victor Skorupski (saxo) y Juan Carlos Zorzi (composicion).
Ha compartido dúos y grupos con Abel Rogantini (Cd “Astitor” PAI Records), Alejandro Manzoni, Máximo Rodríguez y Leandro Savelón (EL CUATRIYO); Ricardo Nolé (“Templando”), Gustavo Liamgot, Claudio Cecolli, Alan Plachta y Hernán Valencia.
Es autor de “Oliverio Girondo, para que siga dando vueltas” donde musicalizó sus poemas.
Sus obras de música de cámara para saxofón han sido interpretadas en Argentina, Chile, Canadá y EEUU por reconocidos concertistas como María Noel Luzardo, Roger Greenberg y el Cuarteto de Saxos “4mil”.

En el campo de la música de teatro ha realizado numerosos trabajos como compositor (El sumo narrador, Intemperie, Bairoletto y Germinal; en teatro infantil: Manejador de Subte, Neutrino un invento argentino, El Arte a la vuelta de la esquina) y como músico (Chicago, Los Productores, Sweet Charity).
Es profesor de saxofón en los Conservatorios Manuel de Falla y López Buchardo (IUNA).
En abril/2008 defiende su tesis de Maestría en la Universidad de Cuyo titulada “Borrando fronteras, música académica y popular para saxofón y piano compuesta en Buenos Aires” bajo la dirección de Miguel Villafruela que incluye obras de Mario Herrerías, Marcelo Ferreira, Astor Piazzolla y Juan D´Árgenton entre otros.
